Docs-less™
Firebender believes in docs-less™ documentation in the AI coding era. Referring to documentation should be last resort. Firebender should just know how to update/modify itself at your request. When you want to actually implement something you see in the docs, just ask Firebender.Future is changing fast.
Pre-2023, GitHub Copilot changed the world with great autocomplete. Now it’s rarely talked about compared to agentic coding functionality that became practical with Claude 3.5 Sonnet in June 2024. Unfortunately, being too early can also be problematic (little productivity gain): Terminal based agents were too early in 2023-2024, and only became a practical UX as context windows and tool calling improved in early 2025. Firebender as a platform is a sliding window to adjust to what LLMs are capable of today to give Android engineers the most value, not being too early and not being too late. Right now, we are focused on multi-agent coding assistance, including translating Figmas to code and mobile-use to test features.Learn more
