  2. Open the API Keys Panel

  1. Specify a key and base url for any provider you have access to
  2. Select Local Mode

  1. Start the query and watch the agent access files, run terminal commands, read directories, modify files, without access to Firebender API services.
Local mode does not support inline edits, AI terminal command generation, and auto complete features.Local agent is great for testing and experimenting, but has out of date prompts, limited tools, and can be very token inefficient/cache misses (costs may be 5x compared to using our API).
